Course
The course is a repeat of last year's national championships. It offers fast rolling tarmac with less going directly into the prevailing wind. Last year we had some fast times.
The route is simple: pass straight through the roundabout at 6.3km and make a u-turn at the next roundabout at 12km. You must make a full anti-clockwise turn at the roundabout - cutting it will lead to disqualification. Return to opposite start. Total distance is 23km

Safety
- Although the road will be closed to traffic, stay vigilant. Keep to the right side of the road to allow faster riders to pass on the left.
- Wind blown sand can be found on the road at parts of the course.
- No support vehicles will be provided for this race but a broom wagon will assist you to return to the finish if required.
- For fairness, you may not provide your own support vehicle: Only official vehicles can be on the course.
- Use of a flashing rear light is strongly recommended.
